Animal Success Stories
Since opening in 2007, One Critter has found "furrever" homes for many dogs, cats, and small animals. This space is dedicated to updates on how our adoptees are doing in their new homes. If you have adopted an animal from us, please send an update to Hayes.OCATAR@gmail.com and be sure to include the original name of the animal, the new name if changed, age now, and anything else that might be interesting. Please also send at least one recent picture. We'd love to hear from you! Read on for some great updates!

Siku
Just wanted to update you all on how he is doing. We named him Furgus, Gus for short. He now lives with us in our new house in the country on 7 acres with a pond. He couldn’t be happier. He has also adjusted well to being a wonderful fur brother to our first human baby. Gus does great with baby Z.

Lilo
Hello! I adopted Lilo the precious little daschund/beagle mix in October and I just wanted to send you guys a picture of her snoozing in her favorite place, our bed! She is wonderful and loves her big sister Pixie, who is a lab. Some day’s she thinks that she is just as big as Pixie! They love each other so much and have tons of fun playing around the house.. Lilo is usually the one that starts all the races around the coffee table! Lilo wanted me to tell you guy’s thank you for placing her in such a wonderful home, and Pixie wanted me to thank you guys as well for taking care of her little sister until we could come rescue her! Lilo is a wonderful addition to our family and everyone that meets her just falls in love with her! Thank you guys for doing what you do and keeping all these animals safe and in great homes!
Merry Christmas!
Thanks again,
Renee Miller, Jonathan Powe, Pixie and Lilo
Brutus
OH my goodness......he's gotten big in the 6 mos....but he is so part of the family. He's doing great.....we are going to enroll in some training to get him to obey (Smile). We are really doing well.
Sesi
Soba (i changed sesi's name to soba) is doing really great. She has fun playing in the woods and with other dogs every day. She is in doggy school and she is really getting those "sit-stay" and other fun
things down! She has turned out to be the best dog ever and me and
everyone else that meets her are super excited about her!
Hope all is well,
Rita
